TunnelBear: Secure VPN & Wifi App Reviews

Im trying it out, based on a review on how to geek dot com. It seems to work as advertised here in Toronto, ON (at Starbucks, TPL, and Tim Hortons). No glitches yet... Might upgrade to the paid feature. Revised: Dec12/16. Its UI is easy to use. No glitches. Only minor nagging to upgrade to paid version. Increased my 4-star to 5/5.

This app is magic - no more geo-blocked internet content, safe and secure browsing. Ive told everyone I know about Tunnel Bear.

Not bad... but temperamental. Sometimes wont activate after numerous attempts and so I have had to uninstall it to get my phone to work. Installed again later. Wish the company could figure out what the problem is and solve it.

Used to be very happy with this service now it refuses to connect reliably, refuses to disconnect reliably (keeps trying to reconnect when I disconnect) and its Canadian VPN keeps getting rejected as not being in Canada. Uninstalled because this kind of garbage isnt worth the stress any more - and I have an unlimited account until August

I went for the yearly service. Runs on almost all my device home. (Still reading and figuring out the Linux (Ubuntu) laptop). Allows me to watch my UK tv shows (from Canada) But some US streaming site such as Hulu will deny you access. (Be aware)

I use surf easy or tunnel bear on my devices - tunnel bear is as adorable as it is effective - decent choice of locations I recommend tunnel bear to newbies n00b or expert cloaked individuals alike

This app works great in comparison to what you have to deal with other free vpn apps. It limits you on data unless you pay but hey its free so...you cant really complain much.

this app is amazing and works great. Buuuuuuut 400mg........ really.... make it 1 gigabyte at least.

Good for my basic purposes of watching videos and accessing content not available in my country.

Works very well, on the whole. Nice interface, I like to view what is happening and wait for connection to be established. Excellent prompt help if problems. Via email they make it personal. Feels good! Occasionally slow but I have found that is mostly caused by updates of other apps interfering. Bravo the Bear! And thank you.

Unfortunately China banned VPNs, dont blame the Bear! Works 100% as expected from Canada and Belize on holiday. Considering upgrading for more data since security cant be overdone these days!

One of the best VPN services Ive tried so far, very simple user interface and interesting too I love that lil bear, a lil bit slows the Internet connection but nothin out of the ordinary . Keep up the good work , hope u can add up more servers ,Russia etc

Its great for games like the square Enix ones, where you need an always on vpn. Its great! Would recommend again. A+++
