The app & service does everything that you would expect from a quality VPN with no impact on speed. I dont know why some people are saying Canada only connects via Quebec and forces everything into French. It doesnt. Heck, even being IN Quebec doesnt force all your browsing into French! Thats a nonsense. The price of the Grizzly plan is expensive (higher than I paid for my last VPN) especially for Canadians. Prices are in USD so the low currency exchange rate plus foreign currency transaction charges make this a premium price service for Canadians. If you only need occasional use the free option is great. The most expensive plan is worthwhile, despite the Canadian currency penalty, if you want to run TunnelBear on up to 5 devices. A lot of cheaper VPN services restrict use to one device at a time.

Been using this app for almost a week after I had purchased it for my PC. The layout is very similar to the desktop client though it doesnt seem to work very well on my phone. Its really buggy and interferes with CarPlay as well doesnt mask my IP from the Speedtest.net app which still knows my actual location. If they could fix some of these fundamental problems and get it to work as good as the desktop version its well worth the price.

Using it in India right now. 99% of the time it wont connect, even if we have a strong wifi connection. It did work once- not enough, Im very worried about my stuff but I also need to use wifi!

Im a subscriber and this app does what it is supposed to do - offer reliable, consistent, and fast VPN. I use it whenever I travel or go to a public place like a coffee shop. Super easy to use.

Does what it says it going to do - works as a vpn. I dont use it consistently, but have never had an issue.

Went to Cuba and snapchat was blocked, using tunnel bear the app did what is supposed to do !

I was hoping to keep up with Twitter while in China. Unfortunately none of the tunnels are able to connect.

TunnelBears VPN service is excellent, and so are their apps. This one is no exception, and is both easy and fun to use. One feature which is sorely missing from the iOS app, however, is the ability to automatically connect to VPN on WiFi connection (Vigilant Bear). This is possible on iOS, and would round out an otherwise excellent experience with automatic public hotspot protection.

The interface makes connecting easy and amusing. The connection speeds are consistently good, and its nice to have 500MB of free data to use each month. Id found this service after seeing a positive recommendation in Macworld, which gave me a certain sense of confidence as to the security and reliability of the service. Im very pleased with it!

Seriously, this is the most intuitive VPN app I have ever used in my life. Its simple, easy to use, works flawlessly and you cant go wrong with bears. Did I mention that this is also a Canadian company!? A+ for TunnelBear.
